H Πρωτοβουλία STOP TTIP, CETA, TiSA έχει ήδη ενημερώσει τους φορείς και τις Πρωτοβουλίες πολιτών που είχαν δηλώσει συμμετοχή στις προηγούμενες Παγκόσμιες δράσεις για τις νέες Παγκόσμιες Ημέρες, Δράσης 10 - 17 Οκτωβρίου 2015,  για τη δημοκρατία, τη κοινωνική δικαιοσύνη και τις δημόσιες υπηρεσίες.

Το πρώτο δεκαήμερο του Σεπτεμβρίου 2015 θα πραγματοποιηθεί σύσκεψη στην Αθήνα για το συντονισμό δράσεων στην Ελλάδα.

Stop TTIP, CETA and the TPP! No to the corporate power grab!

TTIP = EU-US trade deal | CETA = EU-Canada trade deal | TPP = Transpacific trade deal

We, civil society organisations, trade unions, farmers and grassroots activists from both sides of the Atlantic oppose TTIP, CETA and TPP. These sinister trade deals threaten our democracy, public services, and social & environmental standards, and jeopardise small-scale quality farming, food and pharmaceutical standards, the indispensable energy transition, and our right and ability to change society for the better. The beneficiaries of these agreements are the big corporations who designed and lobbied for them, not citizens.

In Europe, the movement against TTIP and CETA has grown massively over the past two years. On 6 October, the European Citizens’ Initiative against TTIP and CETA will complete its year with over 2.5 million signatories. To celebrate this success and reinforce our demands, we will take to the streets on 10 October. At the same time, thousands will march across Europe, converge in Brussels to block the October 15 EU Summit, and say no to austerity, poverty and TTIP.

In North America, Latin America, and the Pacific people are organizing to end the assault of corporate imperialism that will be greatly exacerbated by the TransPacific Partnership (TPP) and other rigged corporate "trade" treaties like the TTIP, CETA, and TiSA. The TPP is very close to complete and is being pushed hard by the big multinational corporations and heads of state like Barack Obama who was recently granted the power to Fast Track these secret deals through the US Congress. Despite some major sticking points, negotiators will likely try to pass the TPP later this year or in early 2016. However, protest in every TPP country is making it difficult for negotiators to move forward with the deal.

In June, 2015 the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives passed a Fast Track bill that makes it easier to pass gargantuan treaties like the TPP, TTIP, and TiSA through Congress (no amendments, no filibuster, limited time for debate, and only an up or down vote) after years of secret negotiation. Obama quickly signed the antidemocratic Fast Track process into law and is now working hard to finalize the first of the three deals, the TPP. People in the United States resent this treason and coming together like never before for a concerted escalation to stop corporate globalization and build political, economic, and social relations based on justice, not greed.

Across the Atlantic, we have seen over the last decades a massive transfer of power from the public to private interests, a push for economic and financial liberalisation, growing inequalities, poverty and environmental destructions. TTIP, CETA and TPP are attempts to make these erroneous decisions irreversible. Our struggle to stop these secret deals therefore resonates with social movements resisting austerity, fighting for climate and social justice.

From October 10 to 17, join marches, mass demonstrations or organize local actions all over Europe and North America. Stop TTIP, CETA and the TPP! No to the corporate power grab!

TTIP FREE ZONES | Ελεύθερες Ζώνες από τη Διατλαντική Συμφωνία μεταξύ ΗΠΑ - ΕΕ [Περιφέρειες, Δήμοι, Χωριά κ.λπ]

Οι προηγούμενες αναρτήσεις με θέμα την TTIP στο blog είναι άκρως ενημερωτικές αλλά παράλληλα και ανησυχητικές για το μέλλον όχι μόνο της Ελλάδας, της Ευρώπης αλλά και της ανθρωπότητας. Παρά τις αντιδράσεις και τις κινητοποιήσεις των πολιτών η διαδικασία προώθησής της προχώρησε ακόμα ένα βήμα . "Στις 8 Ιουλίου και μετά από πλήθος παλινωδιών το Ευρωκοινοβούλιο υπερψήφισε μία πρόταση που δίνει το πράσινο φως στη συνέχιση των διαπραγματεύσεων." [Περισσότερα ΕΔΩ ΕΔΩ ΕΔΩ ΕΔΩ]

Ενδιαφέρον έχουν τα άρθρα α) του Τζων Χίλαρυ "TTIP will force all Europeans to take Greece’s medicine" που γράφτηκε μετά τη συμφωνία, 3ο μνημόνιο,  της Ελληνικής Κυβέρνησης με την Τρόικα [ή θεσμούς] και β) το άρθρο του Στέλιου Παππά για τις Γεωπολιτικές εξελίξεις και τις διεθνείς συμφωνίες μεταξύ αυτών και της ΤΤIP [ΕΔΩ]

Και η ζωή συνεχίζεται με την ολοκλήρωση και του 10ου γύρου των διαπραγματεύσεων 13-17 Ιουλίου 2015.

Για να έχουμε μια πληρέστερη εικόνα το τι συμβαίνει εκτός Ελλάδας,  σε ορισμένες χώρες της Ευρώπης προωθείτε η ιδέα των "TTIP FREE ZONES".
